John Szabo

John Szabo, 81, of Bethlehem, died on February 4, 2016. He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Bosoti) Szabo. He was the husband of the late Carol Szabo. He owned and operated a Masonry and Stucco business in Bethlehem. John loved to listen to music, attend local festivals and spend time with his family. He was a hardworking, happy and caring man. John was a loving and wonderful father and grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors: Son, John P. Szabo; daughter, Suzanne Szabo; granddaughter, Marie (Szabo) Szilagyi and husband Michael Szilagyi; grandson, John Szabo and wife Tara Szabo; brothers Paul and Billy Szabo; sisters, Mary Gatta, Irene Wallach, Theresa Kray and Julia Bauer. John was preceded in death by sister, Helen Micolochick and brothers, Joseph and Frank.

Services: A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 7th from 1-2 pm at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad Street Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to follow at 2 pm.
