John Weisenbacher

John Weisenbacher, 85, of Allentown, died on Sunday June 3, 2012. He was born in Yonkers, NY, son of the late John and Anna (Lehoytak) Weisenbacher. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Charmaine (Erdman) Weisenbacher.

John worked as a welder for the Bethlehem Steel. He was also the owner and operator of the former John's Mower Shop. He was an avid snowmobiler and former elected director of the PSSA. He was a member of the Pocono Ridge Runners and a WWII Veteran.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Charmaine; daughters, Susan wife of, John Phillips and Judy wife of, Brian Carpenter; sons, Robert Skeleton and wife, Cathy and Michael Skeleton and wife, Peggy; daughter, Carol Makuta; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Culp.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where visitation will be held on Wednesday June 6th from 9:30 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow, in the funeral home, beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northeast PA Lions Eye Bank, 2346 Jacksonville Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18017
