Jose Colon Rodriguez

Jose Colon Rodriguez passed away on Friday, January 28, 2011 with his devoted and loving family at his bedside. Born in Salinas, Puerto Rico he was the son of Sixto and Carmela Colon Rodriguez. He was a devoted husband to his wife Cecilia, their children, grandchildren and his brothers and sisters, nieces, and nephews. Jose worked as a chef in the Lehigh Valley for many years. He was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church of Bethlehem. Survivors: Jose is survived by his loving wife, Cecilia; son, Jose and his wife Maureen; daughter, Maria; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Christina, Stephanie, Joseph and Justin; sisters and brothers, Anna, Amelia and Lillian and Sixto, Jose Manuel, Miguel, Lucas. and Luis. He was predeceased by a son, John and brothers Reynaldo, Felix and Orlando. Services: Visitation will be Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 7 to 9 p.m., and Friday, February 4, 2011 from 8:15 to 9:15 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 East Fourth St., Bethlehem, PA 18015.
