Joseph A. Brunovsky, 89, of Bethlehem, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Manor Care in Easton.
Born July 11, 1932, in Allentown, he was the son of the late John J. and Theresa (Hammer) Brunovsky.
Following graduation from Central High School, Joe entered the workforce. He worked in sales at Sears, served as a teller with BB&T Bank, and later held employment as a bus driver with Bethlehem Area School District.
Outside of work, Joseph enjoyed woodworking, golfing, listening to music, maintaining his fitness at the gym, and was an avid gameshow watcher.
He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Dolores Quigley, and one daughter: Jane Nixon.
Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his wife of twenty years, Mary Ann (Ofchus) Brunovsky; two sons: Joseph Brunovsky (Sharon) and Michael Brunovsky (Cheryl); two daughters: Jean Frey and Marie Kratzer; one step-son: Jeff Welsh (Michelle); one step-daughter: Susan Pedone; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and 5 step-grandchildren.
