Joseph A. Rossetti

Joseph A. Rossetti, 93, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 28, 2009.

Born, June 24, 1915 in Allentown, he was the son of the late Andrew and Elvira Rossetti.

He was the husband of the late Jane M. Rossetti.

Joseph was a graduate of Allentown High School and a 1937 graduate of Lehigh University, with honors in accounting and a member of Phi Beta Kappa National Honorary Fraternity. He retired from the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in 1980 as Assistant Vice President and Assistant Controller in the accounting department with 42 years of service. After retirement he became a trustee for 10 years as Vice Chairman at St. Luke's Hospital. He was also a chairman of the Advisory Committee of Merchants National Bank. He was a member of The American Iron and Steel Institute and the Cathedral Church of the Nativity.

Joseph is survived by his son, Glenn M. Rossetti and wife Darla of Bethlehem, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity 321 Wyandotte St., Bethlehem PA 18015. Arrangements handled by Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Joseph's name to the church.
