Joseph A. Vertilla, 86, a lifelong resident of Bethlehem, died on Friday, December 23, 2011.
He proudly served in the U.S. Navy.
Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 55 years,
Anna E. Burkit Vertilla; son, James J. Vertilla and Kathleen of Easton; daughter Mary Rose Boeheler of Bethlehem; his sister Betty, brother Andrew as well as four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A viewing will be held from 9-10 AM on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a service to immediately follow in the funeral home.
