Joseph C. Belletti

May 14, 1930 — April 23, 2007

Joseph C. Belletti, 76, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, April 23, 2007 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's.

He was born in Bethlehem, the son of the late Clement and Josephine Castellucci Belletti.

Joseph was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Geraldine A. DiConcetto Belletti.

Joseph was a 1948 graduate of Liberty High School.

He retired from the retail business after over 50 years of service at several Lehigh Valley businesses, including Neffs Brothers, Carnegie Park, as well as Army & Navy formerly of 7th and Tilghman St. in Allentown and later in Whitehall.

Joseph was a member of Our Lady of Pompeii and the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Bethlehem where he was a former President of the Holy Name Society.

He will be lovingly remembered by his family, son, Vincent J. Belletti of Bethlehem with whom Joseph resided; daughter Regina A., wife of Thomas A. Hlavinka and Granddaughter, Jamie of Hamburg; and brother, Salvatore Belletti, husband of Sandra of Allentown

Joseph is also survived by his nieces and nephews and his sister-in-law, Nancy DiConcetto.

He was a former youth basketball coach in the Bethlehem City League.

Joseph will be forever remembered as a religious man that enjoyed living a simple life, and was extremely devoted to his family.

A visitation will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem on Wednesday April 25, 2007 from 7-9 PM and again on Thursday April 26, 2007 from 8:30-9:30 AM in the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday April 26, 2007 at 10 AM in the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society 3893 Adler Place Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to the church 826 E 4th St Bethlehem, PA 18015
