Joseph Erwins

Joseph Erwins, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Gerald and Irma (Sandor) Erwins. He was the husband of the late Hannah (Woolfenden) Erwins.

Before retiring Joe was employed by Deiter Bros for 25 years. He served with the US Army during WWII and was a member of the Hellertown American Legion, Grover Cleveland Democratic Club and the Tri-Boro Sportsmen Association. Joe was a parishioner of St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

Survivors: brother, Robert Erwins; 3 nieces and 2 great nieces. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Wallace Erwins and Kenneth Czerwinski.

Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday Dec. 12 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 1900 Pennsylvania Ave, Allentown. A 1 p.m. funeral service will follow. Burial will be in the St. Andrews Memorial Garden.
