Joseph F. Schultz, Jr.

Joseph F. Schultz, Jr., 63, of Bethlehem, died on Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital.

He was born September 29, 1947; the son of Angeline R. Delluva Schultz of Bethlehem and the late Joseph F. Schultz, Sr.

Joe was a 1965 graduate of Liberty High School and in 1969 he earned his Bachelor's Degree from Bloomsburg State College.

Joe was a Teacher in the Bethlehem and Hellertown School Districts and later served as the Saucon Scheduling Clerk for the Bethlehem Steel Co.

Family was very important to Joe and he will be dearly missed by his mother, Angeline; brothers, Richard M. Schultz and his wife Janice and Robert A. Schultz and his wife Judith all of Bethlehem. Joe was also a loving uncle to his nephews, Graig and his wife Adrienne, William and his wife Melissa and Aaron; nieces, Jennifer and Christina and his great nephew, Evan.

Joe was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed collecting vintage record albums.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 5-6:45 PM at Church of the Manger 1401 Greenview Dr. Bethlehem, PA 18018 with a funeral ceremony to immediately follow in the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
