Joseph G. Buragino

Joseph, G., Buragino, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, November 1, 2015. He was born in Bethlehem, son of the late Gregorio and Maria (Cilenti) Buragina. Joe is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frances (Tallarico) Buragino. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

Joe worked at Bethlehem Steel for 23 years as a computer programmer in the Research Department. He retired in 1983. He graduated from Moravian College in 1983 with a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Accounting. He was an adjunct professor at DeSales University for 15 years. Joe was ordained a permanent deacon on May 20th 1995 and assigned to St. Ursula's parish in Fountain Hill. On September 1, 2004, Joe was assigned to Our Lady of Perpetual Help where he was a founding member. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during WWII.

An 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 7, at OLPH. Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
