Joseph J. D'Agostino

Joseph J. ?Brooklyn Joe? D?Agostino, 91, of Bethlehem Township died Tuesday August 28, 2007 at St. Luke?s Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born, April 10, 1916 in Manhattan, NY; he was the son of the late Samuel and Rose Manino D?Agostino. He was the husband of the late Frances Asakavich D?Agostino.

Joe was employed by the Bethlehem Steel for 39 years, working in the combination and 42? mill. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Bethlehem Township.

Survivors: sons, Joel, Stanley and Paul; daughters, Barbara Locher and her companion Edward Waitkaitis and Frances Roseman and her husband Stephen; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son William, three brothers and one sister.

Services: 9:30 a.m. on Friday August 31st at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St; Bethlehem, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1817 1st St; Bethlehem, PA 18020. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
