Joseph J. Luther

Joseph J. Luther, 58, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, July 22, 2013. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Balog) Luther. Joe was employed by Just Born for 25 years. He loved going to flea markets and watching his boys play football. He was also a long time coach for the North East Bethlehem Raiders Youth Football Association.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Joe and his wife, Andrea, and Dan; daughters, Samantha, and Brandy, wife of Matt Mortimer; sisters, Joan Sydlowski, Helen Hausman, and Nancy Luther; and granddaughter, Riley. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maryann Stahler.

Visitation will be held on Thursday July 25 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. An 11 a.m. memorial service will follow. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd St. New York, NY 10016.
