Joseph J. Schultz

Joseph J. Schultz, 83, of Allentown, died Sunday, September 10, 2006, at his residence.Born March 13, 1923 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Joseph and Anna UngerSchultz. He was the loving husband of the late Bernice L. Lash Schultz. Joseph worked for Western Electric as a Tool Room Supervisor. He retired in 1985.

He served his country during WWII as a Motor Machinist Mate in the U.S. Navy.He was a member of the Pioneer Club, The American Legion #397, the Bethlehem MORA Club and a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church of Bethlehem.

Joseph will be lovingly remembered by, his sons, Joseph S. Schultz & wife Sherry of Bethlehem; Barry J. Schultz & wife Donna of Hellertown; daughters, Susan G. Muenker & husband Donald of Orefield; JoAnn J. Kautz & husband Donald of Manheim; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by, sisters, Anna Horwath and Theresa Schultz. Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 10 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Capistrano Catholic Church 912 East Fourth St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Visitation will be held, Wednesday, September 13, 2006 from 7-9 p.m. and Thursday, from 9-10 a.m. both in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
