Joseph "Joe" Domyan

Joseph Domyan, 78, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was born July 15, 1929 in Rabatotfalu, Hungary, the son of the late Karoly and Ilona Somenek Domyan. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Anna. He retired from the City of Bethlehem-Streets Department after 23 years of service. Joseph was a member of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, son, Stephen F. Domyan and his wife Nancy of Bethlehem; daughters, Mary M. Linsenbigler and husband Robert of Freemansburg; Anna M. Byrnes and husband Michael of Bethlehem; sisters, Anna Kozo, Margit Ertl and Helen Pinter all of Bethlehem; Terez Szakaly and Ibolyka Domyan and brother Karoly Domyan all of Austria; nine grandchildren & one great-grandson.

Services: A visitation will be held Monday, January 14, 2008 from 8-9 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. A Funeral Service will be held at 9 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. John Capistrano Catholic Church 912 East Fourth St. Bethlehem. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
