Joseph Kovitch

Joseph M. Kovitch, 84, of Bethlehem passed away, Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown.

Born December 29, 1924 he was the son of the late Sophie Kosowkowski and Michael Kovitch.

He was the husband of the late Martha Kozul Kovitch.

Before retirement he worked in the dry cleaning business and as a brickcoater. His best years were those spent with his granddaughter and involvement with the Parkettes Gymnastics. Joseph was also a big fan of polka music and never missed a year of Musikfest.

Joseph is survived by his daughter, Regina Cruz, granddaughter, Rhonda Mckinley and husband Barry, great grandchildren, Hailee and Brayden, brother Tony of Atlanta, GA and sister, Gladys Roman of Bethlehem.

Joseph was preceded in death by his sister, Josephine Mosko and brother, Stanley Kovitch.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem at 11:00 AM. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
