Joseph L. Fatebene

October 3, 1925 — September 26, 2007

Joseph L.? Squinch? Fatebene, 81, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the Easton Nursing Center. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Antonio and Giovina DiGiacinto Fatebene. He was the loving husband of the late Maryanne Bozyk Fatebene who died in November 2004.

Joseph attended Bethlehem Technical High School in June 1944. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Coast Guard. He worked for Bethlehem Steel for 41 years before retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church of Bethlehem. He enjoyed construction and remodeling homes.

Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his sons, Glen of Bethlehem; Wayne of Nazareth; Dale of Bethlehem; daughter, Gail Ann Shelly of Bethehem; sister, Ann Hassick of Bethlehem; grandsons, Mark, Anthony and Adam, granddaughter, Kelsey. He was predeceased by three sisters, Mary, Edith and Jennie and two brothers, Michael and Bernard.

Services: A visitation will be held, Thursday, September 27, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. and again Friday, from 9-10 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, PA 18020.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Praxis Alzheimer?s Facility/Easton Nursing Center, 498 Washington St, Easton, PA 18042.
