Joseph M. Korpics

Joseph M. Korpics, 95, of Bethlehem died Sunday, June 1, 2008 in his home in Bethlehem. Born April 19, 1913 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Theresa R. Horvath and Joseph C. Korpics.

Joseph was the owner and operator of Korpics Clothing Store in Southside Bethlehem from 1937 to 1993. He was a graduate of Penn State University receiving a bachelor's degree in 1937. He was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Irene Gerber of Bethlehem, niece, Theresa wife of Barry Bowman of Bethlehem and a great nephew Matthew Bowman of Bethlehem.

He was preceded in death by his sisters; Theresa R. Kercsmar and Irene Korpics, brothers, Leo and Louis Korpics.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A service will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church 417 Carlton Ave. Bethlehem at 10:00 AM

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.
