Joseph P. Krenos

Joseph P Krenos, 87, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, April 25, 2009 at his Residence in Bethlehem. He was born in Bethlehem and was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa Ostrich Krenos and the widower of Victoria M. Falcone Krenos who died in 1977.

Joseph was a salesman, fitter and tailor for the former Silverberg and Goldberg Fashion Co. for 32 years. He then was a teacher for The Bethlehem Area Votech for many years.

Joe served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. In his younger years Joe was an avid pilot, skier and whitewater rafter.

Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his brother Charles F. Krenos, Sr., five grandchildren Jennifer Almy, Christine Krenos, Joseph M. Krenos, Patricia A. Kachmar and Victoria L. Rivera, two great grandchildren Matthew and Erin Almy, two daughters- in-law, nieces and nephews and a very close friend Mary Calvo of Bethlehem. He is predeceased by two sons Richard R. and Robert R. Krenos.

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Connell Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday May 1, 2009 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anne's Catholic Church, 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 10:30 AM

Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, 2166 S. 12th St., Allentown, PA 18103.
