Joseph P. Malatesta

Joseph P. Malatesta, of Bethlehem, died on June 4, 2014, his 89th birthday. He was born in Bethlehem, son of the late John and Josephine (Caprara) Malatesta. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Rita T. (Harrington) Malatesta.

Joe was a graduate of Moravian College and earned his Masters degree from Lehigh University. He retired as a teacher from the Bethlehem Area School District, ending his career at Freedom.

He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Fausta Gentile of Bethlehem; and his nieces and nephews. Joe was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Pors and Lena Bishko.

Services will be private. Contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
