Joseph R. Deleo

Joseph R. DeLeo, 88, of Hellertown, died on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services in Bethlehem. He was born in Philadelphia, the son of the late Rocco and Anna (Castelucci) DeLeo.

Joseph was a police officer for the city of Bethlehem for 23 years retiring in 1981. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.

Joseph will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Geraldine, wife of Earl Dreisbach and many nieces and nephews extending three generations.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmella Streano and his brother, John Labriola, Jr.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at 10 a. m. at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018. Visitation will be Monday, from 7-9 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Mausoleum, Bethlehem.
