Joseph Roseman

Joseph Roseman, 89, of Gilbertsville, PA, formerly of Bethlehem; died on Wednesday, December 17, 2014. He was born April 5, 1925 in Glens Falls, NY; son of the late, Jacob Feldman and Ida Roseman. He was the devoted husband of the late, Elizabeth “Ellie” Roseman who died in 2009.

Joseph proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II in the Pacific sector. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College in 1950. He retired in 2006 from the Burlington Coat Factory where he worked as a salesman in the Mens department. He was a parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Jacob Roseman and his wife, Molly of Wausau, WI; Gustavo “Gus” Roseman and his wife, Debora, with whom he resided in Gilbertsville, PA; and Ida Marie Roseman and her fianc, Enrico Gargano of Brooklyn, NY. He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Roseman and sisters, Hannah Bronne, Rose and Edith Roseman.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, PA 18015. Inurnment will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
