Josephine Z. Allen

Josephine Z. Allen, 83, of Bethlehem passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Rocco and Lucy (Guerrieri) Zullo. She was the loving wife of the late William H. Allen with whom she was married for 57 years.

Josephine was a longtime member of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was very proud of her time working at Bethlehem Steel as a purchaser. She enjoyed cooking and traveling with her family. Josephine was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Jodi Allen de Waal and husband Jaco; and grandchildren, Larissa and Jacob. Josephine was predeceased by her sisters, Michalina, Lena, Yolanda, Marie, and brothers Tony and Ernie.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park Mausoleum.
