Joslyn E. Smith

Joslyn E. Smith, 65, of Bethlehem passed away unexpectedly in her home on Friday, May 21, 2021. Born in Allentown, PA on July 18, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Thelma (LeVan) and Joseph Kovacs. Joslyn attended Southern Lehigh High School before studying at Pennsylvania State University. She was the loving wife of Paul J. Smith, Jr.

Joslyn devoted her life to her family, enriching each family members life journey through wisdom and unwavering support. She was very proud of her boys and all of their accomplishments. Joslyn especially adored her two grandchildren, Audrey and Luke, cherishing her time spent with them as they became the center of her universe. She enjoyed gardening and ensuring the house was always warm and welcoming for family and friends. Joslyn loved to entertain, especially during the holidays, and always hosted Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner. She would help anyone in need, and without question, always put others before herself. She will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Paul J. Smith, Jr.; son, Paul J. Smith, III and his wife Paula; son Brian P. Smith; brother, Jeff Kovacs and his wife Pam; grandchildren, Audrey and Luke Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will be planning a celebration of life for a future date.
