Josue T. Flores

Josue T. Flores, 71, of Bethlehem, died on Saturday, July 15, 2017 with his family by his side. Josue bravely battled emphysema and lung cancer, never losing hope. He always had a positive attitude and continued to be funny throughout his illness. Josue was the son of Bibiano Flores and the late Ana Torres-Flores.

Josue attended Washington Junior High School and was a graduate of Liberty High School, where he wrestled and played football. He was a very hard and dedicated worker. He worked as a laborer for over 40 years at Victaulic. Josue was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. Josue will be forever remembered as a loving husband, great dad, caring grandfather, and wonderful brother.

Josue will be dearly missed by his wife, Aida I. (Quinones) Flores, his sons, Joseph John Flores; Joseph Antonio Flores and Bibiano Flores and his daughters, Rebecca Cruz and Noemi Cruz; his two sisters, Carmen Ocasio and her husband, Gilberto and Elizabeth Solivan and her husband, William as well as 11 grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018. Another visitation will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 9-10 a.m. with a service to immediately follow. Burial will be held at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
