Joyce G. Shaneberger

Joyce G. Shaneberger, 85, of Bethlehem died Sunday Sept. 9, 2007 at her home. She was born on July 25, 1922 in Easton, Pa. daughter of the late Willliam and Grace Savitz Garrison. She was the wife of the late James T. Shaneberger who died in June 2000.

Joyce was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bethlehem Twp. She was retired from the Bethlehem Area School District Business Office. Joyce was very active and enjoyed people, baking, knitting, crocheting and also was an avid bowler.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Brian A. Shaneberger of Bethlehem, daughters, Carol A. Shaneberger with whom she resided and Diane A., wife of Gary Winkle of Bethlehem, a brother, Richard Garrison of Banner Elk, N.C., two grandsons Zachary and James and one great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday Sept. 12, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd. Bethlehem, Pa. 18020. Calling hour will be held from 9-10 a.m. in the church.
