Joyce Unangst

Joyce Unangst, 66, of Bethlehem Twp. died on Thursday, August 18, 2011 peacefully in her home.

She was born January 19, 1945 in Michigan; the daughter of the late John A. and Wanda Skawski.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years, Edward F. Unangst, Jr.

Joyce was a hairstylist for many years and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also enjoyed working with children at the Wesley United Methodist Church Nursery.

Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her children, Chris A. Unangst of Salisbury, NC; Monica L. and her husband James S. Kunsman of Hellertown and Kirk E. Unangst and his wife Gwen of Harrisburg as well as her brothers, Frank, Bryan and Dennis Skawski all of Florida. She will also be dearly missed by her five grandchildren, Hope, Alexander and Nicholas Kunsman and Brandon and Brooke Unangst.

Joyce was predeceased by her brothers, John and Jerry Skawski.

A viewing will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown.
