Juan M. Hernandez

Juan "John" M. Hernandez, 77 , of Allentown, died on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem. He was born, in Orocovis, Puerto Rico, and was the son of the late Ramon and Rosa Morales Hernandez and the husband of Virginia J. David Hernandez.

John was employed as a truck driver for over 42 years with MTS and R. David Trucking before retiring in 2000. John received a safe driving award and was awarded a membership in the " Mack Million Mile Club" He was a member of the Teamster's Union Local #773. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grand father, brother and devoted to his family.

John will be lovingly remembered by his wife Virginia, sons, Jeffery J. and Anthony G. Hernandez of Allentown, daughters, Hiedi K. and husband Edward Copping of Lee's Summit, MO and Bonita L. and husband Robert Rountree of Allentown, brothers Ramon Hernandez and wife Anna of Vineland, NJ and Pedro Hernandez of Allentown, and sister Teodosia Reyes of Davenport, FL, ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren, three brothers in law, Edward David and his wife Ruth of Macungie, PA, Robert David and his wife Sis of Slatington, PA and Gerald David and his companion Bonnie Steckroth of Allentown, PA, sister in law Dama David wife of Richard of Slatington, PA six nephews and four nieces.

John is predeceased by his parents and a brother in law Richard David.

Visitation will be at Connell Funeral Home, Inc., 245 East Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7:30 PM
