Juanita Vegas

Juanita Vegas, 77, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, May 2, 2016. She was born April 11, 1939 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico; one of seven children to the late Francisco and Juana (Vasquez) Ramirez. Juanita had a passion for sewing and was an amazing cook.

She will be dearly missed by Ramon, her companion of over 50 years; six daughters, 2 sons, one sister, 2 brothers and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held at The Connell Funeral Home on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service to follow at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Hellertown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Blind Association.
