Judith Ann Sterner

Judith Ann Sterner, 72, of Bethlehem passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn Schmitt. She was married to Edwin H. Sterner for 12 years until his passing on July 7, 1996.

Judy drove a school van for the Intermediate Unit 20 and then Jennings Transportation after retirement. She was a very caring, loving, funny, and supporting wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed being with her family most of all. She will be missed dearly by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Brian Repnyek and wife Tina, Lisa Repnyek, Mark Repnyek, Amanda Sterner and fianc Andrew Bauman. Siblings, Virgina Sexton, James Schmitt, Susan wife of Ronald Granitz, Thomas Schmitt and wife Diane. Grandchildren, Ava and Andrew Bauman, and Nicole and Kevin Bennett. Great grandchildren, Elijah and Bradley Bennett, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lynn Zellner.

A viewing will be held on Saturday December 19, 2015 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 12:30-2:00 PM followed by a funeral service in the funeral home at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Judiths name to St. Judes Childrens Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
