Judith Minerva Rosa

Minerva Acevedo Rosa, 62, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, March 11, 2010.

She was born June 2, 1947 in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico; the daughter of the late Augustine and Maria Mendez Acevedo.

Minerva dedicated her life to her family and will be lovingly remembered by her children, Luz N. "Lucy" Boyer and her husband Scott of Laury's Station; Robert F. "Bobby" Rosa, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Shamokin, PA; Lisa Ann Vazquez of Bethlehem; Judith Anne "Judy" Claudio of Catasauqua and Minerva "Mickey" Cruz of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her husband Robert F. Rosa, Sr.; nine grandchildren, one great grandchild; sisters, Antonia Alicea, and Martha Ramos both of Bethlehem and her brothers, Ruben Acevedo, Edward Acevedo both of Bethlehem and Augustine Acevedo of CA and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Peter, Anastacio and Angel and her sister, baby Gladys.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Connell Funeral home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018 and again on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 from 10-11 AM with a Ceremony to Celebrate Minerva's life immediately following at 11 AM in the funeral home.

Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
