Julia Gregoris

November 25, 1917 — February 25, 2009

Julia Gregoris, 91, of Moravian Village, Bethlehem died on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's.

She was born in Coplay the daughter of the late George and Julia Pekor Mollasie

Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Gregoris.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for a few factories in Bethlehem and was a member of the I.L.G.W.U.

Julia will be lovingly remembered by her son, Michael Gregoris and his wife Mary of Bethlehem; daughter-in-law Judith Gregoris of Texas; four grandchildren, Christine Beavers and Julie Beth Tittle both of Texas and Nicole Becker and Jonathan Gregoris both of Bethlehem as well as three great grandchildren all of Texas and her sister Mary Bauer of Coplay.

Julia was preceded in death by her son, Steve Gregoris and sister Anna Grate.

She was a member of St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Bethlehem and Julia was active in the Ladies Sodality.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 27, 2009 from 7-8:30 PM at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem with Parastas to immediately follow at 8:30 PM.

Another visitation will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 8:30-9:30 to be immediately followed by Panachida at 9:30 AM all in the funeral home.

Office of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday February 28, 2009 at 10 AM at St. Josaphat's Ukrainian Catholic Church 1826 Kenmore Ave. Bethlehem.

Interment will be held at St. Josaphat's Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
