Julia J. Wargo

Julia Wargo, 88, passed away peacefully in the care of St. Lukes Hospice House on Monday, May 11, 2015. Julia was previously a resident of Country Meadows, Bethlehem and was appreciative of the love, care and kindness she received from the support staff. Julia truly enjoyed her time spent at Country Meadows.

Jule was born in Minooka, Pennsylvania in 1926, to Polish parents, John Gnoinski and the former Josephine Jerzak and moved to Easton, PA, then retired to Melbourne, FL with her predeceased husband, Al. She grew up with three sisters, Mary, Helen and Clare and one brother, Joseph.

In Jules early years she was employed by Scranton Lace. After caring for the family for many years, Jule enjoyed working at Mamselle in the Palmer Park Mall for 15 years.

Jule had many loves that included her family, music, gardening and keeping up with fashion trends.

Jule and Al raised three children and is survived by Carol Krutsick and her husband Gerry of Bethlehem, Albert and his wife Janet of Austin, TX and James of Melbourne, FL.

A Memorial Service will be held at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 4:30 PM. The family will receive guests at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until the time of the service. Julia will be interred at Dignity Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 1861 Catasauqua Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18017 or to the VNA of St. Lukes Hospice 1510 Center Valley Parkway, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
