Julia K Amole

Julia K. Houp Amole, 88, died on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Born in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Ralph M. and Esther B. Buchanan Houp.

Julia worked for Just Born Candies, Inc. in Bethlehem as a receptionist and switch board operator. She retired in 1984 after 25 years of service. Previously, she worked for Bell Telephone as an operator. She was of the Methodist faith.

Julia will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Eileen Sabulish, of Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township; two sons, Dr. Jacques H. Amole and his wife,

Sue, of Athens, GA; and Ronald S. Amole and his wife, Mary Ann, of Bethlehem;

a brother R. Kenneth Houp of Long Beach, CA; a sister-in-law Marie Houp of Birdsboro, PA; four grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.

Julia is predeceased by a brother Richard F. Houp.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, Inc., Bethlehem.
