Julia Melinsky

Julia Slivko Melinsky, 84, of Bethlehem passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Saucon Valley Manor in Hellertown. Born November 15, 1926 in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Julia Lisa and John Slivko. She was married to Leo ?Links? Melinsky for 53 years until he passed away on November 5, 2011.

Julia was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite in Bethlehem.

Julia will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Julieann wife of Rocco Bambu, brother, Michael Slivko and her two granddaughters, Alison and Heather Bambu.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Barner, Anna Bankowski and Helen Lerch, brothers, Andrew, John, Charles, and Joseph Slivko.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 8:30-9:30 AM. Panachida will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM followed by an Office of Christian Burial with Divine Liturgy at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church of the Byzantine Rite 1140 Johnston Dr., Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 10 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Julia?s name to the church.
