Julia S. Debellis

Julia S. Emrick DeBellis, 90, of Bethlehem Township, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth.

Born June 15, 1921 in West Easton she was the daughter of the late Helen and George Emrick. She was married to Donald DeBellis with whom she celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Julia worked for as a waitress for many restaurants in the Lehigh Valley area. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights. Julia was also a member of West Easton Fire House, Safety First Fire House and the Heights ICC.

Julia is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Welch of Bethlehem Township.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Joseph and Peter Emrick and sisters, Anna Platko, Mary Schwartzmann and Helen Kustra.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a service at 10:30 AM. Burial will be at Gethsemane Cemetery in Easton, PA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Julia's name to Hospice of the VNA of St. Luke's 1510 Valley Center Parkway-St. 200 Bethlehem, PA 18017.
