Katherine Lata

Katherine Lata, 93, of Bethlehem Township, PA passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Country Meadows in Bethlehem Township.

Born July 12, 1917 she was the daughter of the late Ignatz and Agnes Szuter. She was married to Walter Lata with whom she celebrated 72 years of marriage this past January 12th.

Katherine was a dedicated member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Miller Heights.

Katherine will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Walter, sisters, Josephine Vargo and Anna Zirko and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, John Szuter.

SERVICES

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, PA 18018 from 8:30-9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 1817 First St., Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 10 AM. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, in Bethlehem.

Memorial contributions may be made in Katherine's name to the church.
