Kathleen Collins

Kathleen Collins, 79, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2024. Born on July 24, 1945, in Jacksonville, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Blanche (Smurra) Hearns.

Kathleen was a member of King of Glory Lutheran Church. She cherished the moments spent with her family, particularly her beloved grandchildren. She loved the beach, collecting sea shells, and indulging in a good book. She enjoyed exploring the world through her travels with friends and was an avid supporter of the North Myrtle Beach Sea Turtle Patrol. Additionally, Kathleen enjoyed attending football games for the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

Kathleen will be dearly missed by her son, Carl Collins and his wife, Colby; son-in-law, Ronald Bologna; five grandchildren, Jordan Collins, Talon Collins, Arianna Bologna, Alessandra Bologna and her husband, Connor, and Isabella Bologna; and one great-grandson, Leanardo Giancarlo Bologna.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Carl Martin Collins and her daughter, Lisa Bologna.

A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen's life will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 805 11th Avenue North, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
