Kathleen R. Otter

Kathleen R. Otter, 84, of Fountain Hill, Pa., died Saturday morning June 2 in Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late John L. Otter, who died in 1973. Born in Fountain Hill, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary McLaughlin Gallagher. She was a member of St. Ursulas Catholic Church, Fountain Hill, where she was active with the Womens Guild and the Golden Hillers. She was always on the go and loved traveling and was an avid golfer. She was a proud member of the 1939 graduating class of Bethlehem Catholic High School. Kathleen worked for PPL as a bookkeeper for 22 years until 1963 when she took a position in the bookkeeping department of Pennington and Pealer, Sellersville, for 18 years retiring in 1980.

Survivors: Surviving are her daughter, Michele, wife of Tony Ortiz, of Fountain Hill; her son, Lawrence, husband of MaryBeth Otter, of Perkasie, Bucks County; her four granddaughters, Kate and Pamela Otter and Nellie and Libby Ortiz. She was predeceased by her sisters, Frances Skelly and Marie Werntz.

Services: will be on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in the Connell Funeral Home Inc., 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, Pa., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ursulas Catholic Church, 1300 Broadway, Fountain Hill. Family will receive friends on Tuesday 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
