Kathleen Rose Gessitz

Kathleen Rose Gessitz, 59, of Fountain Hill, died on Monday, February 18, 2019. She was born in Bethlehem, the daughter of Kathleen Rose (Hanley) Szulborski and the late William S. Szulborski.

Kathleen retired from Lehigh Valley Hospital where she worked in the Medical Records Department. She was very adventurous and loved traveling to places both new and old. She enjoyed being around her friends, as well as making new ones. Her nurturing heart led to many vibrant gardens. The orchid was her favorite flower, due to how they each are different from one another. She also enjoyed crocheting and the works of James Patterson, John Lennon, along with almost anything on the Syfy channel. Kathleen will be lovingly remembered for her kind and caring spirit, her quiet demeanor and especially for the love she had for her family and the special bond that they shared.

Kathleen will be dearly missed by her children, Erich, Brandon and Tyler Gessitz; her mother, Kathleen; sister, Mary Fran Leahy and several members of her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, William R. Szulborski.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in remembrance of Kathleen to American Cancer Society, 3893 Adler Pl #170, Bethlehem, PA 18017.
