Kathleen Wojcik

Kathleen Susan Wojcik, 72, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 16, 1952 to the late James and Helene (Szwed) O'Leary.

Kathleen was a strong, loving mother whose plainspoken honesty was refreshing and, often, a source of humor. She was devoted to her Pittsburgh Steelers, never missing a game or a chance to shout her encouragement (or disapproval) during the broadcast.

She loved her cat Red and new kitten Bert, regularly scolding them as they begged for treats and then promptly rewarding them with as much as they could eat.

Kathleen faced a life that included no shortage of barriers and challenges, but remained resilient through it all. She taught her children and family what it meant to fearlessly move forward with an unwavering stubborn spirit.

Survivors: daughter: Sarah M. (Michael J. Hill) Wojcik of Bethlehem, PA; son: Matthew F. (Sarah M. Twigg) Wojcik of Frostburg, MD; brother: Brian O'Leary of West Mifflin, PA; grandchildren: Elliot Carpenter, Bee Hill, Lucas Hill, Adalynn Twigg. Predeceased by her brother: Jeffrey O'Leary; companion: Bill Walsh.
