Kathryn A. Contrino

Kathryn A. Contrino, 95, of Northampton, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Born on January 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn (Stafursky) and John Wojtkunski.

Kathryn lived in Bethlehem for 60 years and then moved in with her son, Dominic and his wife, Mary, both of Cherryville, PA. She worked as a dress maker for I.L.G.W.U. where she retired in 1990. After retiring, she volunteered at Lehigh Valley Muhlenberg Hospital for 25 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Dominic of Cherryville, Carman of Catasauqua, and John of Easton; four grandchildren, Tristan and Jori of IL, Phillip of MD, and Dylan of Pittsburgh; and two great-grandchildren, Louie and Marcello.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Dominick Contrino; two brothers, Eddie and Stanley; three sisters, Mary, Rose and Ann.

A private family service will be held at Connell Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 12:00 p.m. at Pittston Cemetery, 200 Vine St., Pittston, PA 18640.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lehigh Valley Humane Society, 640 Dixon St., Allentown, PA 18103.
