Kathryn A. Szabo

Kathryn A. (Sabol) Szabo , 98, of Bethlehem, PA died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Manor Care in Sinking Spring, PA. Born March 22, 1915 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary (Doddy) Sabol. She was married to the late Michael M. Szabo who passed away on October 25, 2000.

She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Kathryn will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Jean K. wife of Stephen Edraney and Frances A. Szabo, sister, Theresa Karabin. She will also be remembered by her five grandchildren, Lisa Farkas, Jennifer Lepus, Christopher Kovacs, Kristen Bagenstose and Kimberly Stoltzfus and eight great grandchildren, Harry Jessell, Samantha Farkas, Michael Farkas, Rieley Bagenstose, Mason Bagenstose, Isaiah Stoltzfus, Mia Stoltzfus and Andi Kovacs.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Frank and Andrew Sabol and sisters, Anna Sabol and Mary Gasda.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18017 at 11 AM. A calling hour will be held from 10-11 AM in the church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Kathryn's name Heartland Hospice, 4 Park Plaza, Wyomissing, PA 19610.
