Kathryn Ann Didonato

Kathryn Ann "Kitty" DiDonato, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away quietly on January 13, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

The wife of Charles DiDonato and mother of six children including:Kathryn Schuenemann, Debora Cordes, Charles and Joseph DiDonato, Lisa Berke and Cindy Bissey. She is the grandmother of 19 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

Kathryn graduated from Liberty High School in 1948 and Moravian College in 1950. Kathryn was employed as an office manager for Dr. H.N. Olewiler of Bethlehem.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Anna Hasenecz Banash, and a younger brother Edward.

Her brother George and his wife, Nancy, currently reside in Anaheim, CA. Sons-in-law include: Ray Schuenemann, Gary Cordes, William Berke and Brett Bissey; daughters-in-law include: Cindy Hahm DiDonato and Laura Bryon DiDonato.

Kathryn and her husband, Charles, were looking forward to celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary in August, 2012.

They were members of St. Anne's parish in Bethlehem; where Kathryn was a Eucharistic Minister, was involved with the Ladies Sodality, the church choir and served as a Leader of Song for many years.

Kathryn dedicated her life to her family and the Lord and surely will be missed as a dear companion, matriarch and friend.

Services: A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Connell Funeral Home 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem PA 18018.

Another viewing will be held from 9-9:45 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at St. Anne's Catholic Church 450 Washington Ave. Bethlehem, PA 18017 with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church.
