Kathryn M. Goida Baron

Kathryn M Marciw Baron, 89, of Bethlehem, died on Monday, August 30, 2010 at St.Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. Kathryn was born in Palmerton, PA and was the daughter of the late Michael and Anastazia Marciw Marciw and the wife of Michael R. Baron with whom she celebrated their 10 anniversary this past September. Kathryn was the widow of her first husband Frank Goida who died in 1983.

Kathryn worked for the former Lehigh Valley Shirt Co as a sewing machine operator retiring in 1983 with 42 years service. She was a member or U.N.I.T.E. Local #128. Kathryn was a member of St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church in Bethlehem.

Kathryn will be lovingly remembered by her husband Michael R. Baron of Bethlehem, PA two brothers Michael Marchu of Allentown, PA and Stephen Marciw of Southampton, NY and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, first husband Frank Goida, and a sister Ann Petrusic.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 3, 2010 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Josaphats Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1826 Kenmore Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18018 followed by Office of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.

Burial following service at St. Vladimir Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, PA

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church.
