Kathryn R. Cannon

Kathryn R. Cannon, 91, of Bethlehem died Friday March 19, 2010 at her residence. She was born on September 25, 1918 in Pittston, Pa. daughter of the late Patrick and Bridget McNally Haggerty. She was the wife of the late Hugh E. Cannon.

Kathryn worked as a bookkeeper for Cannon's Texaco Station for 30 years retiring in 1978. She was a member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church in Fountain Hill.

She will be lovingly remembered by her first cousins, Helen Murray of Scranton and Mary McCarthy of Carbondale , second cousins, Kathy Morrell of Moscow, Colleen Kelly of Scranton, Joseph Murray of Scranton , Suzanne Alden of Holland , and Mary Kay Filipovits of Coopersburg, goddaughters, Deborah L. Dillon of Macungie, and Kathie A. McByrne of Newtown, Pa. and lifelong friends, Kate Collins and family. of Allentown.

She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Joseph Haggerty and Patrick Haggerty and a godson, Joseph McCarthy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11AM Tuesday March 23, 2010 at St. Ursula's Catholic Church 1300 Broadway Bethlehem, Pa. 18015. Calling period from 10:30-11AM at the church. Burial at Holy Saviour Cemetery.
