Kathryn R. Dittemore

Kathryn R. Dittemore, 67, of Bethlehem, died on Sunday, December 16, 2012. She was born in Bethlehem, daughter of the late Sylvan and Kathryn (Saemmer) Serban.

Kathryn was a 1963 graduate of Bethlehem Catholic High School and also a graduate of Mt. Aloysius College. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for Bethlehem Steel for 30 years and was currently employed by Access Services for 10 years. Kathryn was a faithful member of New Covenant Christian Community Church. She had a very close relationship with her grandchildren who affectionately knew her as Oma.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son, Eric and fianc, Heather of Easton; daughter, Kim Orth and husband, Charlie of Easton; brothers, Larry Serban of Bethlehem and Bob Serban of Shillington; sister, Pat Dunne of Albrightsville; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Hannah, Abigail, Madeline and Bryce.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, where visitation will be held on Wednesday December 19th from 6 to 8 p.m. and again on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery, Bethlehem.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Covenant Christian Community, 21 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018, to be used in support of their missionaries.
