Kathryn T. Derr

Kathryn T. Derr, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on February 25, 2022, just a few weeks shy of her 95th birthday. A native of Hellertown, Kathryn was a talented seamstress, an excellent cook, and a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her family meant everything to her. Interested in local history, she served as a guide at the Sun Inn. She assisted children with hearing losses, serving as a board member of the Lehigh Valley Parents Group for Hard of Hearing Children. She was a founding member of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.

Kathryn is survived by her daughters, Marianne and Cynthia (Gary); sons, Jeffrey, Ph.D. (Susan), and Richard; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Stanley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer; son, Gregory; sister, Anne, and brother, Frank.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Funeral Home and will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.
