Kaya Therese Liaw

Kaya Therese Liaw passed peacefully in the arms of her parents on April 6, 2014 at The Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia. . She was born 3 months premature on December 23rd, 2013 at St Lukes Hospital in Bethlehem. She was the smallest baby ever born at St Lukes Hospital, weighing only 11 ounces. She was truly a miracle. We are infinitely sad, but eternally grateful for the time that we had with her. We were inspired by her strength and fighting spirit. She was our little warrior princess. Though she left us too soon, Kaya gave us a lifetime of love during her short time on earth.



Survivors: Kaya is survived by her parents, Dr William J Liaw and Amy T. (Doederlein) Liaw. Maternal grandparents, Mr and Mrs Ralph O. Doederlein, Sr. Paternal grandmother, Judith C. Liaw. Pre-deceased by paternal grandfather, Dr Michael M.T. Liaw. Kaya also had many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.



Services:

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 11 AM with a calling hour from 10-11 AM in the church. Arrangements Connell Funeral Home.
