Kenneth O. Schoch

January 8, 1932 — August 1, 2013

Kenneth O. Schoch, 81, of Bethlehem, died on Thursday, August 1, 2013 after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. He was raised in Carbon County, son of the late Clinton and Isabella (Keiper) Schoch. He is survived by his loving wife of over 38 years, Dianne K. (Hinkle) Schoch.

Kenny served in the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from the City of Bethlehem Sewer Maintenance Dept.

Kenny will be dearly missed by his wife Dianne; as well as his pride and joy, Jordan E. Salabsky, whom he raised. He is also survived by his sons, Kerry, Keith, Kenneth, Jr. and Karl; step children, Sharon Brady and Thomas Salabsky; sisters, Loretta, Gloria and Shirley; mother-in-law, Mary Grace Hinkle; brothers, Richard, Raymond, Mark, Gerald and Bruce as well as his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold, Ralph and Clinton.

He will be remembered for his ability to fix anything, his stubborn yet fun spirit, and his fondness of the mountains.

A visitation will be held at The Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St. Bethlehem, PA 18018 on Monday, August 5, 2013 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm with a ceremony to immediately follow. Burial will be held at a later date at Holy Saviour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Coco Foundation, PO Box 375 Bethlehem, PA 18016-0375.
