Kermit L. John

Kermit L. "Kirk" John, 84, of Bethlehem, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Holy Family Manor in Bethlehem. He was born October 1, 1923 in Easton the son of the late Weston L. and Mary Eisenhard John. He was the loving husband of Frances "Nancy" H. Taylor. They celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary this past December 17th.

Kermit worked for the Lehigh Valley Railroad and Conrail as a computer operator for 37 years. He retired in 1983.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Bethlehem.

Kermit will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Frances, several in-laws and nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Weston E. John.

Services: A Funeral Service will be held, Monday, February 11, 2008 at 12 p.m. at Connell Funeral Home, Inc. 245 East Broad St. Bethlehem. Visitation will be from 11-12 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, in Allentown.
